It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Charpie (Wheatland, Missouri), born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on April 13, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee and Mary Arlene Charpie; his brothers, Edward Lee Charpie Jr. and James Robert Charpie; and his son Jerry Wayne Charpie II.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Charpie; his children, Chad Charpie (Brooke) and Lori Aikins (Curt); his daughter-in-law Tammy Charpie; his stepchildren, Isis Burton (Matt) of Cameron, Timothy Benedict (Kylie) and Christopher Benedict (Amanda); his sister Mary Jo Ashbaugh (Ned) of Athens; his sister-in-law Barb Charpie of Florida; and also, Raymore, Olathe and Sugar Creek. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
