He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zimmer and Alvina Zimmer (Schmitz); his siblings, Eddie Zimmer, Andrew Zimmer and Millie Honse; his siblings-in-law, Joe Reichel and Lavaughn Zimmer; and his grandson David Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rothove; his children, Michael Zimmer (Valerie Collins) of Linn and Bethany Cross (John) of Westphalia; his siblings, Marvin Zimmer of Vienna, Mary Lou Reichel of Freeburg, Lorraine Stuecken (Roger) of Freeburg and Susie Bassett (Ken) of St. Roberts; and his grandsons, Bradley Cross, Cole Cross and Nathan Stone. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
