He was predeceased by: his father Ernest R. Braun; his wife Pauline Braun; his mother Nettie Braun (Cassmeyer); his brother Richard Braun; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Braun, Mary Ann Prenger, Floyd Lairmore and Jim Benton.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Lairmore of Osage Bend; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Benton of Wardsville, Richard Prenger of Taos and Norman Derkum of Jefferson City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Hospice Compassus, or the Missouri Trappers Association.
