He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Conrad and Hilda Emma Werner (Ortmeyer); his brother Harold Werner (Betty); his brothers-in-law, Ray Schmidt and Eddie Grapes; and his nephew David Werner.
He is survived by: his wife Carmela Ann Goscha; his children, Jeanette Wiggins (Berry), Wayne Werner (Wendy) and Erin Merritt (Shannon) of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren, Ashley Thoenen (Seth), Megan Goldberg (Chris), Taylor Werner and Brett Werner; his great grandchild William Goldberg; and his siblings, Harriet Schmidt, Hazel Braun (Kenny), Wardsville and Helen Grapes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church, Schubert or to a charity of the donor's choice.
