With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Boessen of Westphalia, Missouri, born in Rich Fountain, Missouri, who passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Mengwasser and Agnes Bauer Mengwasser; her siblings, John, Michael, Victor, Anthony Mengwasser and Lidwina Brendel; her granddaughter Lydia Boessen; and her great grandchild Josie Peters.

She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene B. Peters (Patrick) of Linn and Karen M. Boessen (Andrew Burnett) of Westphalia; her grandchildren, Angela Schaben, Stephanie Dake, Jeffrey Boessen, John Peters, Jesse Peters, Justin Peters, Jonathan Boessen, Clayton Boessen, Cecilia Boessen, Dalton Boessen, Katrina Hollis, Claire Taylor and Andrea Boss; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Elijah, Savannah, Isabella, Wyatt, Sophia, Emmett, Bentley, Azlyn, Mason, Colby, Anna, Gus, Agnes and Leo.
