With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Reed (Weston, Missouri), who passed away on October 2, 2018 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Laster and Annie Laster (Adams); her spouse James Franklin Reed; and her son James R. Reed. She is survived by: her daughter Helen; her daughter-in-law Sissy Reed of Blue Springs, MO; and her grandchildren, John F. Coldren of Chula Vista, CA, Shelley Oberdiek (Gary) of Platte City, MO, Pam Oberdiek (Randy) of Platte City, MO and Sharra Haynes (Gary) of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice Foundation: Suite 200, 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114 or the First Baptist Church of Weston: 160 Walnut St., Weston, MO 64098.
