He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Holtz and Wilhelmina Holtz (Feyerherm); and his siblings, Irma Bergt, Rosalie Ott, Roland Holtz, Arlin Holtz, Lillian Adkins and Quintin Holtz.
He is survived by: his former wife Alice M. Nitzsche; his wife Alice Holtz of Westboro; his children, Russell Holtz (Nancy), Milton Dean Holtz (Lyndy), Lisa Holtz, Rock Port, Julie Livengood (Dana) and Burlington Junction; and his brother John Lee Holtz. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
