He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Ferrell and Katherine Maxine Herrick (Shelby). He is survived by: his former wife Judith Marie Stubbs; his son Michael Kim; his close friend Debra Sue Beckman; his children, Mike Herrick (Rhonda), Kristina Traughber, Shelby Herrick (Jeff) and Lee Beckman (Michelle); his grandchildren, Trenton Traughber (Ashley) and Carmen Benton (Pete); his great grandchildren, Ferrell Max Traughber, Jameson Kim and Chase Timothy Benton; and his sisters, Kay Lane (Mike), Kathy Hanrath (Bob), Kolette Orsatti (Dominic) and Kenna Levings (Roger). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment: High Prairie Cemetery, Elmo, Missouri, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tarkio Lions Club.
