She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Tackitt and Jewell Tackitt; and her son Bryan Collins. She is survived by: her children, Julia Patton, Craig Collins (Georgia), Donnie Collins (Amy) and Glen Collins of Kansas City, Kansas; her siblings, Hollis Tackitt, Mark Tackitt and Carol Richardson; her brother-in-law John Collins; her sister Francie Hardin; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Tackitt, Alice Collins and Nancy Tackitt; and her son-in-law Kenneth Patton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
