It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Coats of West Plains, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Devore and Azalea Slinkard Devore; and her brother Jack Devore. She is survived by: her husband John Coats (Mike); her children, Todd Menz (Adonia) of West Plains, Kelley Phillips (Merle) of West Plains, Brian Menz (Shelly) of West Plains, Angie Franklin (Cameron), Michael Coats (Shelby) and Tara Coats (Lester); her grandchildren, Chad Menz (Amelia), Haley Menz, Bailey Menz, Brilee Menz and Brady Coats (Whitnie); and her great grandchild Bode Menz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
