With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Jean Steed (West Plains, Missouri), born in Salem, Arkansas, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Emmett Cook and Cecil Mae Cook (Robinson); her son Larry Edward; her grandson Michael Wayne; her siblings, Paul, Emmett Cook and Anna Pearl Wrenfrow (Cook); her nephews, Kenny Cook, Jimmy Joe Wagner, Bill and Robert Wrenfrow; her niece Linda Kay Wrenfrow; her aunts and uncles, Silas, Raymond Cook, Leida Cook, Tressie Wood and Irene Simms; and her daughter-in-law Margaret Steed.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Steed; her children, Charles (Donna) of Thayer, Jerry (BJ) of Mountain Home, Barbara of West Plains, Kevin (Lana) of Mammoth Spring and Kelly (Angela) of Thayer; her grandchildren, Angi Littlejohn of Memphis, Becky Hallmark (Rodney) of Horseshoe Bend, Christina Mainprize of West Plains, Charli Steed of Springfield, Jacob Steed (Samantha) of Republic, Kelsey Flynn (Morgan) of Little Rock, Ashley Steed of Republic, Zachary Steed (Chandra) of Thayer and Ruby Frances Steed of Mountain Home; her nephews, Michael Cook, Eddie, Doyle Wrenfrow and Emmett Cook (Bubba); her niece Hazel Rodrigue; and her close friends, Dow and Carol Wilkerson.
