We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2021, at the age of 84, Robert Samuel Nielsen of West Plains, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nielsen and Ethel Nielsen (Harrison); his son Jeffrey Nielsen; his sisters, Roberta Petty and Mary Huffines; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Harris, Marvin Kelman and Lloyd Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nielsen; his son Jon Nielsen (Robin) of West Plains; his siblings, Dan Nielsen of Dallas, TX and Esther Nielsen of Oklahoma City, OK; his siblings-in-law, Jack Petty of Oklahoma City, OK, Jim Taylor of West Plains, Larry Harris of West Plains, Waneta Kelman of Hawaii and Wilda Henry of Kansas; and his grandchildren, Allie of West Plains, Ellie of West Plains, Miriam of West Plains, Kara of West Plains and Rachel of West Plains. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
