He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Jackson Chronister and E. J. Chronister; and his pet Blackie. He is survived by: his sons, Craig (Angie) of West Plains and Brian of West Plains; his wife Sue; his siblings, Carolyn Belt of Alton and Vernon (Joyce) of West Plains; his nieces and nephews, Terry Belt of Arlington, Virginia, Jill Bruyr (Keith) of Thayer, Richard (Regena Chronister) of West Plains and Andrew (Kimberly Chronister) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his aunt Irene Chronister of Alton; his parents-in-law, Earl and Ethel Gold; and his pet Barney.
