She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Brashear and Lela Day Brashear; her daughter Lela Mae Stidman; and her siblings, Clyde Brashear, Dale Brashear, Ben Brashear, Fred Brashear, Lois Butts and Lucille Jones.
She is survived by: her son Cecil Edward Brazeal (Joy); her siblings, Jack Brashear and Ruth Thompson (Boyd); and her grandchildren, Joe Dean Stidman, Greg Stidman, Jeff Shipley, LaDonna Brazeal and Darin Brazeal. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
