She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Bender and Alvina Marie Bender (Hicks); her brothers, James Thomas Bender and Gary Dean Bender; her nephews, Richard Allen Bowers and Gary Eugene Bender; and her niece Laura Deann Benefiel.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Keith Mock and Sherry Angela Brainard; and her siblings, Jerry Elmo Bender, Mark Allen Bender, Daniel Eugene Bender, David Leo Bender, Robert Earl Bender, Ruby Marie Bowers, Lillie Mae Benefiel and Junella Lynn Bender. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty four great grandchildren.
