He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Clyde Brill, Sr. (Marie Young Brill) and Newt; his brother-in-law Thomas Saunders; and his nephew Jamie Brill. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn and Tom; his friend Carolyn Saunders; his wife Carolyn; his children, Julia Frohlich (David) of Oakton, Virginia, Margaret Tao (Tony) of Shawnee, Kansas and Joel Brill of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Joel Frohlich (Katharina Landgrebe) of Tübingen, Germany and Rachel Tao of Kansas City, Missouri; his brother Jim Brill (Penny) of West Plains; his nieces, Aimee Webb (Bill) of West Plains, Carrie Collins (Kevin) of St. Louis and Stacy Pyle (Joey) of Columbia, Missouri.; and also Tom (Provence).
He served on its board of trustees, its board of directors, and the OMC Foundation Board, later known as the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation.
