She was predeceased by: her parents, Haud Evertt Bolen and Delta Garber Bolen; and her sister Mary Dale Chestnut. She is survived by: her children, William R. Shannon, Jr., James Lloyd Shannon (Elsie Mae), Ruby Galloway (George), Marvin Shannon (Patricia) and David Shannon (Alison); her sisters, Betty Scott and Connie Moushon; her son Cecil Shannon; and her siblings, Danny Bolen and Joan Stanford. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
