With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melva Jean Dancey of West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on April 6, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mark Hayes and Gertrude Lucille Jones; and her siblings, Jim Hayes and Monna Ray Howell. She is survived by: her children, James Dancey (Jessica), April Weaver and Tiffany Preston (Heath); and her sisters, Colleen Andrews (Bill) and Connie Sue Gibson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many special cousins.
