She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza Hollis and Edna Mae McElroy Hollis; her children, Jack Tharp and Connie Powell; her daughter-in-law Judy Tharp; and her brothers, Leahmon Hollis and Kenneth Hollis.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Donald Powell; her grandchildren, Aaron Powell and Jacquie Tharp; and her brother Glen Hollis (Wanda).
