He is survived by: his wife Betty Claudene Tharp (Montgomery); his children, Eddie Daryl Tharp (Angela), Deborah Carol Tuhey (Michael) and Billy Dale Tharp (Karen); his grandchildren, Jonathan Allmon (Amber), Nathan Allmon, Alecia Burleson (Mark), Jesse Tharp (Marissa), Edward James Tharp (EJ) and Jamie Lynn Tharp; and his siblings, Charles Tharp (Rosalee), Freddy Tharp, Jimmy Tharp (Delores), Garry Tharp (Darlene), Jerry Tharp (Jan), Keith Tharp (Marilyn), Betty Tharp Teddar (Rollin), Verna Mae Murphy (Wayne) and Patricia Joyce Snethern (Jerry).
