She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Waggoner and Alta Waggoner (Bettis); her husband Melvin Barton; her brother Bois Waggoner; her siblings-in-law, Willard, Millard Barton Wayne Forrester and Fern Forrester; and her parents-in-law, Elgan Barton and Bonnie Barton (Sanders).
She is survived by: her children, Dan (Kay) of Nixa, Dennis (Sandy) of Alton and Melba Johnson (Randy) of West Plains, Missouri; her grandchildren, Rek, Broc, Blaz (Julie), Brandon (Chelse), Brooke and Brianna; her great grandchildren, Kolby and Karly; and her siblings-in-law, Carolee of Thayer, Nadine of Alton, Missouri, Gordon (Donna) of Mountain Home, Carlos (Marietta) of Marthasville and Curtis (Linda) of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
