He is survived by: his children, Brenda Montgomery (David), Ron Adkisson (Becky), Randy Adkisson (Charlotte) and Robin Wray (Bart); his grandchildren, Erik Montgomery (Katie), Elaina Martin (Chad), Trevor Hatfield, Kendra Gleghorn (Chad), Nicholas Wray, Spenser Adkisson and Jackie Holliman (Jeremy); and his sister Lillian Brooks. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
