He was predeceased by: his parents, Seldon Murphy and Bea Murphy; his brothers, Jimmy Carl and Gene; his father-in-law Harold Bennett; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Murphy and Jan Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Lorrie Murphy and Jennifer Haynes (Richard); his grandchildren, Clayton Haynes, Mandy Haynes and Sarah Turnbull (Chris); his great grandchildren, Noah and Lyla Turnbull; his brother David Murphy; his mother-in-law Ruth Bennett; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Bennett (Charlotte) and John Bennett (Rena). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
