He is survived by: his wife Margaret Thompson; his children, Jim Thompson (Sarah), Russell Thompson (An) and Vickie Petkovic; his brother Leon Thompson; and his children, Sherrill Ann Thompson and Steven Kent Thompson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
