She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubra Shanks and Eunice May DeLarm Shanks; and her great grandchild Jaxtyn George. She is survived by: her children, Check Smith (Janet), John Smith (Becky), Bobby Smith, Claude Smith (Melinda) and Connie George (Clint); and her siblings, Billy Shanks (Edith), Trudy Wood (David), Wilfred Lee Shanks, Bob Shanks and Jerry Shanks. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
