He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Launius and Henryetta Wylie; and his sister Betty Pickard. He is survived by: his son Grant Launius (Pamela); his grandchildren, David Murdy (Savanna Cunningham), Christina Dailey (Tim), Heather Murdy (T. J. Howerton), Donna-Jean Acosta (Dalton) and Sarah Summers (Steven); his great grandchildren, Max, Lucas, Meadow, Aidan, Miguel, Kenneth Lee, Amaya-Marie, William Tate and Zephania; and his brothers, Leroy Launius and Henry Launius.
