Kennoth Garner Gammill Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2022, at the age of 93, Kennoth Garner Gammill of West Plains, Missouri, born in Myrtle, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Gammill and Vera Newby Gammill; his former wife Peggy Gammill; his siblings, L. G. Gammill, William Gammill (Bill), Waylon Gammill and Joyce Fitz; and his nieces, Lindsey Wells and Gina Fuell.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Gammill; his children, Shawna Matthews, Kendall Gammill (Lavone) and Stacy Gammill; his sister Marie Edwards; and his stepchildren, Kyle McCann (Daphane) and Shonette Hutchinson. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Family Foundation he established has provided dozens of scholarships to the nursing program at MSU-West Plains over the years.
