He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Herman Brauer and Katherine Marie Crowe Brauer; and his stepdaughter Teresa Russell. He is survived by: his wife Marie Brauer; his children, John Brauer, Bryan Brauer, Ted Harris (Cary) and Sandy Herman (Andrew); his grandchildren, Lexie Brauer, Hunter Brauer, Ashley Shrable (Jacob), Shelby Singletary (Evan), Brian Russell (Andrea), Brady Russell (Casey) and John John; and his brother Arthur Brauer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
