He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lovell Roy and Roxie Storms Roy; his close friend Pat; his children, Jerry Roy (Cindy), Jeffrey Roy (Kathy), Angela Mason (John) and Roy Collins (Vibe); and his siblings, Dallas Roy and Joann Brown. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
