He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Preston Roberts and Lola Belle Robinson Roberts; and his brother Charlie Roberts. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Smith (John); his stepdaughters, Jeanie Smith (Randy) of West Plains and Vanessa Becker (Brett) of West Plains; his grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Courtney, Mackenzie, Arionna, Angel, Justin, Chelsea, Dakota, Dillon, Tanner, Brett, Brendan and Brady; and his brother Mark Roberts (Sheryl). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
