He was predeceased by: his parents, Larkin McKinley Collins and Ida Blanche Roper Collins; and his friend Sam Stigall. He is survived by: his wife Mary Collins; his children, Morgan Collins (Terry), Galen Collins (Margaret), Teresa Goodpasture and Terena Hudson (Lionel); his siblings, Roger Collins (Harrietta), Paul Collins, Loeta White and Naomi Bunch Painter; his friend Dorothy Stigall; his grandfather Ival; his grandchild Ival; his son-in-law Paul Goodpasture; and his brothers, Alonzo Collins, Doyle Collins and Leon Collins.
