He is survived by: his wife Ina Shipley; his sons, Gary Downen (Kate) and Dan Downen (Sheila); his grandchildren, Aubry Downen, Emily Downen, Amanda Coleman and Dustin Downen (Jami); his great grandchildren, Katie, Lucas and Kelcee; and his sister Christine Brewer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
