He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Sherry Bassham (David) and Charles Fred Smith (Sharina Alongi Smith); his grandchildren, Jacob Frank Edward Smith, Matthew Allen Coldiron, Adam Garrett Smith, Jessica LeeAnn Bassham, Laura Elizabeth Adkins and Daniel Robert Adkins; his brother Robert Oliver Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Ben Albin and Jim Albin. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
