“Dr. Ed and I go back many years. I first met him when he lived in Springfield, MO. not too far from me. We spent many pleasant hours discussing repairing and building musical instruments. I hadn't seen Ed or Blanche in years, and heard he was having health problems. My sincerest condolences to Ed's family and his musical family, and I will think of him often when I play the guitar he repaired for me. Our loss is Heaven's gain.”
