She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lenzie Otis Ellison and Bessie May Johnson Ellison; her adoptive daughter Beverly Carbitcher (Sonny); her daughter Rebecca Carrell; her grandchildren, Arthur Carrell, Cody Johnson, Valerie Johnson, Tiffany Perry, Brandon Collins and Lakita Harlin; her sister Opal Ellison Turnbull (Wayne); her children, Beverly Hunt Cunningham, Thomas Carrell and Ronnie Carrell; and her siblings, Ann Ash, Bertha Albros, Truman, Leslie Ora Eugene and Bob Ellison. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
