He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Vedder; his children, Dennis Gowin (Terri) of Slidell, LA, Donna Gowin of Koshkonong, MO, Dirk Gowin (Nickie) of Louisville, KY and Dixie Williams (John) of West Plains, MO; his grandchildren, Sarah, Anna Gowin, Anthony Gowin, Ryan Williams (Anna) and Kelsey Moser (Tyler); and his siblings, Ronald Gowin (Pam) of Jerseyville, IL, Wilbur Gowin (Meda) of Jerseyville, IL, Robert Gowin (Anne) of Jerseyville, IL and Joyce Tappy of East Alton, IL. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
