He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Proffitt and Jesse Pence Proffitt. He is survived by: his wife June of West Plains; his children, Amanda Rutledge (Justin) of West Plains, Pam Rowland (Gene) of Dexter, Kelli Allen (David) of West Plains, Jeff Proffitt (Juanita) of Pottersville and Kyle Hogue (Becki) of Wentzville; his grandchildren, Allison, Anna, Ashlyn, Emily, Jack, Jammie, Jon, Maddy and Noah; his brother Don (Carolyn); his son Kirk Hogue; and his brother Perry Alfred Proffitt (late Gwen). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
