He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Evans (Bill) and Mary Emeline Dodson Evans; and his sister Thelma Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Evans; his children, Darrel Dwayne Evans (Sabrina Brimm), Roger Evans (Heidi Rader), Randal Evans (Dee) and Sherri Davidson (Kyle); his sisters, Lilly Moss and Pat Carrico (Bill); his grandson Robert Lee Evans; and his siblings, Bennie, Dallas, Junior, Delbert, Clifton Evans, Artice Brown and Imogene Mitchell. He is also survived by three grandsons; two step-granddaughters; one great-grandson; three step-great-grandsons; one step-great-granddaughter.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
