He is survived by: his children, Brandi Alterman (Kelly), Candi Ford (Rodney), Steven Harlan (Jill) and Stacey Harlan; his grandchildren, Presley Alterman, Jon Alterman, Kelly Alterman, Rebecca McKemie (Brent), Abigail Ford (Ryan), Laikin Harlan, Dawson Harlan, Takoda Harlan, Tinsley Harlan, Bailey Harlan and Breanna Harlan; his great grandchildren, Ansleigh and Owen; his brother Marvin Massey; his close friend Susan Cockrum; his stepfather Gerald Massey; his sister Carrol Spears; and his brother-in-law Rodney Spears. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
