He is survived by: his children, Morgan Cook (Dillynn) of Rolla and Sidney Burgess of Rolla; his mother Debbie Slavings; his stepfather Carl Slavings; his sister Michelle Burgess; and his stepsister Abby Slavings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
