He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Augusta Downen, Jr. and Vada Irene Manley Downen; and his siblings, Karen Mauldin and Joe Downen. He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Downen (Lois), Carolyn Surritte and Pat Brower. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
