He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Hickman and Frances Hickman; and his siblings, Charles, Irvin, Clinton, Bobbie, Lloyd Hickman, Mary Jean Pressley and Lucille Cox.

He is survived by: his wife Diana; his grandson Brandon; his sister Thelma Parks; and his pet Bobbie.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association in Carroll's memory.
