He was predeceased by: his father Eldon Mackey. He is survived by: his mother Tinzie Mims Mackey; his wife Peggy Patterson; his son Scott (Olivia); his grandchildren, Norah, Jude, Celia and Jacob; his siblings, David and Susan Taylor (Dan); his son Travis Mackey; and his sister Anna Mackey. He is also survived by four aunts; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
