He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grant Wilbanks, Sr. and Pauline Crain Wilbanks. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Wilbanks; his children, Chris Wilbanks (Sarah), Melanie Carey (Denver) and Corey Wilbanks (Sonia); his grandchildren, Decota, Bailey, Elly, Anna, Amy, Austin, Tyler, Cayden, Kaylee, Jaxon and Cruze; and his siblings, Donnie Wilbanks (Karen), Connie Dobbs (Richard), Jeannie Hayes, Nancy Huddleston (Lyndell) and Donna Shannon (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
