Betty Joy Brixey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Joy Brixey of West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Parker Wheeler and Effie Lawrence Wheeler; and her mother-in-law Jewell Brixey. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Adams (Dennis) of West Plains and Vonnie Thompson (Clay) of West Plains; her grandchildren, Sonya McGinley (Dennis), Shannon Kiefer (Chris), Josh Adams (Ashlea) and Jared Thompson (Destini); her great grandchildren, Gracie Watson, Logan Watson, Cade Kiefer, Garel McGinley (Jessie), Eli McGinley (Gracie), Parker McGinley, Brixey Adams, Mylea Adams, Kinlee Adams, Jase Adams, Lillie Thompson, Briley Ball and Chandler Ball; her siblings, Johnny Wheeler (Sue) and Emma Lou Lashley; her sister-in-law Patsy King (Alan); her siblings, James Marvin Wheeler and Mary Sue Marsh (Reathel); her brother-in-law Jim Lashley; and her father-in-law Buster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
