He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Phipps and Dorothy Phipps (Roeder); his wife Virginia Carol Sanborn; his brothers, Joseph and Robert; and his great grandchild Corbin.
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy (Tim) of Moberly, MO, William J. (Cynthia) of Troy, MO, Virginia D. (Michael) of Lancaster, OH and Debbie (Scott) of Clever, MO.; and his grandchildren, Anna, Justin, Tina, Rachel, Kendra, Crystal, Tiffany, Thomas, Valerie, Stephanie, Nikki and Adam. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
