He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Henson Jr. and Virginia Henson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Henson; his daughters, Becky Heutel (Kerry) and Samantha Kelly (Michael); his grandson Kayel Heutel; and his sisters, Eugenia Hatch and Oneta Afentoulis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Memorials may be made to The Alzheimers Association or Wentzville United Methodist Church.
