He is survived by: his spouse Shihong "Anna" Song Brendel of Wentzville, Missouri; his daughters, Ashley Moore (Matt) of Springfield, MO, Sarah Brendel (Wes Harper) of O'Fallon, MO and Jenny Gao (Ryan Roach) of Blue Springs, MO; his brother Don G. Brendel (Mona) of New Melle, MO; his brother-in-law Dale Winkler of Florissant, MO; and his grandchildren, Mia, Kyan, Alana and Kaedren. He is also survived by his grandchildren and extended family.
