He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vera J. "Jean" Howell; his parents, Earl Howell and Vivian Seville; his children, Diana Hacker (Dan) and Doug Howell (Kerri); his daughter-in-law Mary Howell (Terry Howell); his brother Kenneth Howell; his grandchildren, Kara Counts (Tyler), Joe Howell, Colton Howell (Kellie), Alana Howell, Morgan Ernest (Brando), Audra Howell, Cody Hacker and Nick Howell; and his great grandchildren, Gwen, Aiden, Peyton, Grayson, Jason, Ember, Roman and Charlie Maree. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be made in Richard's name to Backstoppers.
