He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Smith and Lillian Schwendemann; and his siblings, Tommie Smith, Scott "JC" Smith, Kassie Busby and Faye Elderman.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Smith of Wentzville, Missouri; his children, Jason Smith (Jess) and Deanna Schuler (Michael) of Warrensburg, MO; his siblings, Dan Smith of O'Fallon, MO, Suzanne Brown (Dean) of Wood River, IL and Mary Snyder of O'Fallon, MO; his grandchildren, Savana Oshia (Andrey), Logan Schuler and Jacob Schuler; and his great grandchild Oliver Mendoza.
